Seoul City Holds Launching Ceremony for Smart Life Week University Student Supporters

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Choi Yoon-sun = The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 12th that it held the launching ceremony for the "Smart Life Week (SLW) 2024" university student supporters at the Esplex Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, on the 11th.

The supporters group is composed of 100 university students proficient in foreign languages, selected through a screening process from Kyung Hee University and Sookmyung Women's University, which signed a business agreement with the city in June.

The launching ceremony was attended by Park Jin-young, Director of the Seoul Digital City Bureau, Kang Yo-sik, Chairman of the Seoul Digital Foundation, as well as representatives from both universities, who encouraged the newly appointed supporters.

Starting with the launching ceremony, the supporters will undergo preliminary orientations both online and offline at the end of this month and the beginning of next month.

Afterward, they will engage in promotional activities at the SLW event, which will be held at COEX from the 10th to the 12th of next month.
